As the only sexual trauma center in Acadiana, Hearts of Hope oversees all sexual assault reporting and case management for children and adult victims in the community.

SERVICES
Hearts of Hope is comprised of 3 entities with one vision of ending sexual violence.
Children’s Advocacy Center
A cooperative effort between the 15th & 16th Judicial District Courts that brings together child protective service investigators, law enforcement, prosecutor and medical and mental health professionals to provide a comprehensive response and safe haven for children.
Sexual Abuse Response Center
A provider of education, counseling and advocacy services to survivors of all forms of sexual violence, including sexual assault and stalking.
Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners
Nurses offering comprehensive care to the survivors of sexual assault in the emergency room. Highly skilled nurses educate survivors on their rights and benefits of receiving an exam and treatment.
Confidentiality is strictly maintained for all clients. Hearts of Hope does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, perceived or actual sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, marital status, national origin, socio-economic status, immigration status, political affiliation, or disability. All survivors receiving services at Hearts of Hope shall receive fair and equal treatment without bias.
